Hello all!

AIDS Walk New York was this past Sunday, May 17, 2009. What a great day. Invincible-The Pat Benatar Team had an unprecedented amount of members this year - how amazing is that! That means we had a team meeting spot, which was nice because we usually meet by that "big tree." Our team, as of today, raised the most money we ever have, and I am expecting at least one more donation. So far this year, Invincible-The Pat Benatar Team raised $8,141.

The day started off with a threat of rain, but it was dry throughout the walk. This year was a bit different because we did have that meeting space, so I didn't get to go and see the opening ceremonies. But as the song that kicks off the walk started, You'll Never Walk Alone, our team started walking as well. We walked as a team until some of us split off and went to brunch while others continued walking until the end.
