Pat: You always have surplus material that you record for each album. Why certain songs get chosen over others is a mixture of fate and wisdom. This particular song didn’t make the cut on gravity’s rainbow. I like this song but to me it’s still missing a key element. When we figure out what that is, we just might take another shot at recording it.
